Another year has passed and Mothers' Day is almost upon us. Its time to celebrate - to thank our mums for the wonderful work that they do to help guide us to be the best we can and to reap the rewards of being the best mothers' that we can be.
This layout i am sharing with you today is a little something that I created a while ago. My husband took the picture of my son and I ... and i love how it shows how special he is to me.... it captures the wonder of having that little one and believing in yourself that you can deliver to all their needs.
'Always count on mums love' - thats what i needed this little one to know, and i know even though he has grown to a staggering 10 years old - i know he still relies on me and my love every single day.
With this layout I stamped out a lot of hearts - i used a hero arts stamp- they were stamped in hues of brown, green and blue. I had some Wild Asparagus cardstock in those colors that i layered on the page and then I added my photo. I then layered the stamped hearts as a strip border and then stitched over the top of them.
The title was added and a few flowers... cause i am a girl- i felt i needed those .... and that was the layout... i am sure (and hoping) that he will understand from the picture and the title what this layout was all about - that is why i did not add journalling to this page... he is a very profound little boy, whom i love with all my heart.
As you can see i have used browns, greens and blues... i wanted to use these colors as he was a little boy but i still wanted to keep it a tad feminine by adding lots of hearts and some flowers
I hope you have a fabulous week and have a fantastic weekend of celebrations planned for your mum or yourself.........it is a gift to be alive... and an even greater gift to be loved and show love.
