Scrapbooking a single step by step layout by Susan Luke

Here is a lovely step by step  layout designed by Susan luke for you all to enjoy. Please feel free to have a go and we would love to see your work in our gallery!

Materials:

First choose three Black &White photos and decide which one is to be the feature. Mat that one on silver cardstock

Adhere the yellow Crate Paper mat to the middle of your 12" x 12" layout. Remove the die cut petals first.

Cut the ribbon into two lengths and adhere it crossed and across the layout to suggest movement.

Adhere your back two photos down first and lay the matted photo on top. Stick it down. Don't worry if the photos seem a little too large, unless trimming them will take away important parts of the picture you want preserved. Two of my photos overlapped the page.

Work out where your flowers look nicest and use your craft knife to make a slit for the brads in the flowers. Attach the flowers.

Add the rhinestone accents where they enhance the photos best. I tried to follow a more or less circular pattern with mine and it was nice that some of the swirls echoed the swirls in her hair.

Now turn the layout over and finish trimming the overhanging photos corners and ribbon as desired.

Add the title

You're done! I have a magnetic display board that I use to show my most recent layouts for awhile. I think the black and white looks very nice in it - see what you think:
Thank you for stopping by and hope you have enjoyed your read
have a wonderful day
take care
luv tanXx
