Tips and Techniques
Consider using a number for your title … a year (as I have), a date, an amount, an age, or a measurement. Really the skies the limit and it can often look far catchier than a longer title made up of words.
2Die cut journaling spots look great layered amongst other parts of the LO so remember … you don’t always have to journal on them.
With white core patterned paper or cardstock, consider tearing the edges or cutting them with a deckle edge blade, and embossing the piece. Once done, sand the edges and raised, embossed images for a whole new look.
If your patterned paper has images that can be cut from it, just do it LOL! There is nothing more perfect to finish off a LO than matching embellishments which have come from the paper range itself. Sometimes I think to myself “but this has soooo been done before”. But do you know what? Its been done a million times before because it is an effective technique. Can you imagine this LO without the hand cut flower embellishments? I can. Just as pretty but nowhere near as effective.
