LAST MINUTE FATHERS DAY GIFT.... quick and really easy!

Hi everyone!

Hope your all well and ready for fathers day on Sunday... if your not we have the perfect gift you can make quite quickly.

This Memo Board is made by Kaisercraft and My sister - Tammy Rapmund decorated for her husbands birthday but what a fantastic fathers day gift too....

All you need...
  • Modpodge
  • 3-4 doublesided pattern papers
  • Kaisercraft filing tools (we now have these in stock!)
  • Paint / ink

Here are some easy instructions for you to follow....
*Please note* ...all paper onto the board were adheard using modpodge.

STEP 1
  • Cover the side, ends and flat parts of the board that will be like a little shelf.
  • You may want to use your kaisercraft filing tools to get into the hard to reach places to make the edges nice and smooth.

STEP 2
  • Ink the scolloped ends, this could also be painted.
  • Cover the rail part on the out side
  • Place this into the above shelf part until it is firmly fitted.
  • You may want to use your kaisercraft filing tools to get into the hard to reach places to make the edges nice and smooth.

STEP3
  • Cover your main board
  • Slot your shelf into the main board firmly into place
  • You may want to use your kaisercraft filing tools to get into the hard to reach places to make the edges nice and smooth.


Step 4
  • Measure your memo pad width
  • Cut a contrasting pattern paper about 1.5cm wider than the memo pad
  • Ink your edges
  • Adhere to your memo board
  • Poke holes where you need to place the hocks for the pad to hock onto
  • Cut some 1" circles and smaller circles using contrasting paper and adhere them before placing the bottom row of hocks
  • You may want to use your kaisercraft filing tools to get into the hard to reach places to make the edges nice and smooth.


Step 5

  • Here is your final pic and if you want to cut an embellishment to place on the side you can!
