LAYOUT INSTRUCTIONS

* one 4x6 and two 3x5 (cropped from 4x6) landscape photos used

Sand photo edges and set aside

Use a small white cup (mine originally held soy sauce and came with noodles) Lightly and randomly stamp circles of white paint onto the Grass Cardstock. Set aside to dry

Cut Raspberry cardstock at 81/4 and set aside for making a card once LO is complete. From the remaining cardstock cut three 6x1/2 strips. Using a length of string (mine came from the bottom of the kitchen drawer) 'paint' rough lines of white paint onto the three strips. Set aside to dry

Whilst the paint is drying, cut out the tropical pattern around the large circle on the reverse of hte Sunrise patterned paper. Be careful not to cut into the remainder of the 12 x 12 patterned paper as awe will 'salvage' pieces for bore sections - cut in half (approximately) between the three orange heart shaped leaves, and trim two of the black flower stems. These cut out pieces are going to be the embellishments on your LO.

Before continuing with our cut out pieces, cut a strip 12 x 12 from the top of sunrise (the ornage side), two strips as wide as you can from the sides of Sunrise (mine were approximately 12 x 3/4), salvage a piece fro the centre (mine was 5 3/4 x 5 1/2, and using a corner punch, punch ourt four photo corners from what has become the 'scraps'. From the strip of 12 x 2 cut three lengths measuring 5 1/2, 4 1/2, and 2. Sand the edges of these three strips and the four photo corners and set aside.

Enhancing our cut out pieces....

  • Colour in the dark grey flower stems with the pure Black Zig wirter
  • Apply the Kindy Glitz to hot pink, lime green, pink and orange sections
  • apply Glossy accents to various sections including the black flower stems

Further, from the extras cut out the pink higbiscus flower, colour the centre with the Pur black zig pen, and highlight the hot pink and orange sections with Kindy Glitz. Set all these pieces aside to dry.

Whilst our cut our pieces are drying construct the base of the LO. The three photos overlap with the 4x6 being the focal photo. Adhere the orange strips, pink strips and photos to the Grass cardstock as shown or as suits your own photos. Adhere the photo corners as shown. Create a title using the Carolee's creations Sleep White alpha stickers and apply to your LO using a stepping design. Label your photos with the Carolee's Creations Tiny Milk Chocolate alphas.

Once our cut out pieces are dry, adhere the piece with the two birds directly onto the LO. Add the hibiscus. The remaining cut out pieces are adhered to the LO with 3D mounting tape... be carful to not crack your glossy accents sections...slightly overlapping the hibiscus so that it appears as one piece.

Finishing touches...

  • Apply Glossy Accents to your title
  • Place KaiserBlack Pearls in the eyes of the birds and the hibiscus stamen
  • Doodle randomly around 'painted circles with dots going from small to large
  • Doodle on the photo corners....

Congrats your layout is now completed!...
