Distress Technique Lesson 1

Distress Inks....

These inks are a lot of fun, they are a die ink and so much fun to play with. I love the colours in the ranger ranges. We stock these inks in our store at www.scrapncraftwitht.com.au if you would like to check them out!

We will do a few techniques using these and we also do these in a local class....

Here is the first one!...

Step 1
Find your paper, i have used a doilie

Step 2
Crumple it up

Step 3
Flattern the doilie out

Step 4
Place ink on top of the ridges

Step 5
Spray /spritz water lightly over the top of your doilie, this will allow the ink to spread
Step 6
Add another colour if you wish..
Step 7
Here is your wet doilie
Step 8
Using an IRON ( we now have some craft irons in stock at www.scrapncraftwitht.com.au) you can go over the top of your doilie to dry it flat.

If your using a home iron i would recommend using some greese proof paper to prevent any ink going on your iron and ruining it.

FINISHED ....

Thanks for looking and hope you have fun and have a go!
till next time
luv tanXx
