Hi everyone!
It's time for the 3rd installment in the Doodling series.
Today I want to show you how to dress up patterend paper and use it on your pages.
I've started with some Bo Bunny scrap patterned paper and I'm going to show you how to make it pack a punch!
Pick a star on your patterned paper and outline the centre star.
Next, add a detailed border, like I showed you in Tutorial One, with the lined border. Simple and easy.
And the finished result...Dada!!
It's very easy to do and it makes for an interesting element on your page and is also a great way to use up those scraps!!
Use them as elements on other pages!
Here's another example...
A flowery patterned paper that is a doodly design anyway..
The original piece...
and after a little doodling and outlining of the flower and stem.
Lastly, add a lined border to the edges of elements, like these die-cut brackets.
It really makes them stand out and gives them a definate edge.
Before...
and after.
See, it's easy and looks great once you've finished.
Make sure any layouts you create with these techniques, you upload to the Gallery so we can see what you've created!
