SM Magazine Vol 10 No2

I wanted to share my excitiment with a layout I have published in this months scrapbooking Memories Magazine. It is of my good friends of when they were livng out west.



Also being this weeks subject PIGMENT POWDERS.... I have used them on this layout. I have stamped the gel medium and powders onto the title 'Jewels' and in the middle of the 'o, b, a' I have just left all textured. I wonted to give a outback rugged sort of look.


I would also like to congratulate Michelle Jamison for you layout on page34. Your work is fab!

WARANA MAY 2008

What can I say but WOW! was an amazing weekend meeting everyone and puting faces to online names...lol.

Thanks gyps for a top weekend, A lot of work had gone into it and you did a fab job.

It was great to see everyones styles of scrapping and all so different and yet extremly brillant work. Their was so much creativity and fun in one room I will remember this time we had together for a long time.

HOW TO USE PIGMENT POWDERS- STAGE 1

Over the next week I will be adding another technique using primary elements which is a mica powders. These are very fine and come in many different colours.

Their is 80 different colours and come in packs of 4. The price for the 4 pack is $17+postage

HEY DAD!

Oh how cute our little man is and look at his little stand with his tiny hands on his hip...lol. This is one of his common words he would say after every sentence. But this day came out with a soft annoyed sigh....mmm' your not listening to me'. It was so cute to hear for a little man with very few words to say this really surprised us...lol

Goodies from KIM ARCHER

End of last year I purchased 3 of Kims classes, They were fantastic and great value. I learn't so much including other types of craft like dying, decorating candles and much much more. I had a ball and I thank you so much Kim and your team.
With one of the classes, kim did a live chat class which was really fun and getting to know some other crafty like minded people. Kim offered prices through out the class and I was very fortunate to win one of them.

MY CREATIVE HOLIDAY.

Due to the rainy weather all around me. I decided that I would do a lot of creating these holidays. Here are some layouts I have completed. It surprised me to see how many I had completed. I am still trying to catch up on so many old photos of when you kids were much younger.

A memorable Birthday

I was awoken early with my 2 adorable children. They had made some special gifts for me. Part of me was a bit worried what they had made and the other part was excited to see what they had come up with on their own.

Katie wanted to buy me something but after telling her I had purchased enough for my birthday she decided she wanted to make some thing. A very sweet thought.


The first I opened was a ring with my initials on it 'TP' the other was a ream o beads with ' I LOVE MUM', and then Katie gave me a cup wrapped in a freezer bag. Oh dear what is this i thought... oh don't worry mum Katie would say' it is a room freshener... I made it with your expensive shampoo - dads shaving cream' I had to laugh for I would cry and was given strict instructions not to throw it out.... lol

Ben Put some beads that i had given his sister into a small envelope and gave to me....lol.

We went out to Jenni's and the kids a a great time together and we all celebrated with a delicious woolies birthday cake!

Our little family went out for dinner then I went over to Sarah’s to enjoy nibbles and fun!
