Double LO Christmas Kit and step-by-step by Kylie Abel

Just in time for Christmas, an action-packed double LO using Kaisercraft's new range "Christmas Carnival". This paper range is really fun to work with - it's not a traditional colour range for Christmas, but the images used are perfect for Christmassy LOs.

This double LO kit for TWELVE photos includes...

2 x pattern papers
3 x cardstock
1m sheer white ribbon
1 x Bella bling (clear)
1 x Carolees Creations red sleek alphas
1 x Carolees Creations tiny red alphas
1 x Bella rub-ons
1 x Yillup Designs beaded flower

You can purchase this kit through Scrap N Craft With T HERE
To save you time and effort, the step-by-step instructions to create the sample LO - "Decorate the Tree" will be included here...
STEP 1:
Cut the blue cardstock into 2 squares 6"x8". Stick them at the middle line of the 2 pieces of red cardstock as shown in the photo, approximately 1" from the edge.
STEP 2:
Cut the wavy line from one of the Kaisercraft Christmas Carnival papers, and cut it in half. Stick the 2 pieces on opposite sides of the double LO as shown in the picture.
STEP 3:
Using sharp scissors or a scalpel, cut 7 "baubles" from one of the patterned papers. Use a small hole punch (or scissors) to cut the small hole from the circle hanger on each bauble, and thread some of the sheer ribon through . I used double-sided tape in a long line to attach the ribbons and the baubles to my page. The baubles who's ribbons appear to end in the middle of the page will be coming from behind a photo in an upcoming step...
STEP 4:
Add some of the white Bella rub-ons to the edges of the blue cardstock. I cut the border strip in half and placed one at the top of the page, and one at the bottom.
STEP 5:
Now add your 12 photos. I printed mine with a small white border around the edges to help them stand out against the busy background. My photos are all approximately 2.5"x3.25" - they print from my printer at 9 to a page. There is one photo that is a traditional-sized 4"x6" and is the focus photo.
STEP 6:
Now you get the fun of journaling! The Carolees Creations sleek alphabet stickers included in this kit give you enough letters to create a long title, and the tiny letters have plenty of multiples that make them perfect for many spots of journaling. I included journaling in 4 different places across the whole LO - labelling individual photos and telling the story.
STEP 7:
What's a Christmas LO without some bling? In this kit you get 2 forms of blinginess. There's some beautifully sparkly Bella bling, and an exclusively created Yillup Designs beaded flower that you can only get in this kit. Position the beaded flower at the top left of the LO and use the Bella bling to create circles across the LO. I used the bottom of a Kindyglitz bottle and the inside of my double-sided tape to create templates for circles. To recreate a bit more of the Christmas feeling, I used small clusters to the white Bella rub-on flowers throughout the LO too.
And there you have it - a double LO that includes enough photos that you won't have to try and choose just one that illustrates your Christmas fun.
This kit has heaps and heaps of leftovers too - perfect for adding some Christmas cheer to gift cards, Chrstmas cards or other LOs. I will be adding another step-by-step next week that will show you how to create some beautiful gift cards with what's left over.
Remember, to purchase one of these great value kits from Scrap N Craft With T, you will need to go HERE. They are sure to sell fast at this time of the year!
