Kaisercraft Layout - Dutchess collection - by Sandy Brimlow




Products Used:

Preparation:

  • Paint Wooden Flourishes with raw umber, and set aside to dry
  • From alpha pack choose letters for title
  • Using raw umber paint, paint letters, set aside to dry



*************************************************

  • Use Empire paper as background paper and ink the edges
  • Choosing a selection of regal paper (striped side), cut a section of this for mounting photo on to allowing for 5/8 inch around photo, mount photo on this pattern paper
  • Cut cardstock 1/4 inch wider all round than pattern paper
  • Use distressing tool, distress around edges of cardstock
  • Mount pattern paper and photo to distressed cardstock

  • From regal pattern paper
  • Cut one of the remaining strips

  • Cut a length of antique styled lace
  • From royalty pattern paper, cut a journaling block of choice to suit layout.
  • Choose a selection of flowers from 3 packs, Layer the flowers, as shown

Construction:


  • Attach strip from regal pattern paper, 1 and 1/2 inches from bottom of base paper
  • Attach mounted photo 2 and 1/2 inches from left side of base paper, with edge of cardstock at this 2 and 1/2 inch mar, and resting on top of strip of regal pattern paper

  • Attach lace to very bottom of cardstock, just covering the top of regal pattern paper strip.
  • Attach journaling block to right hand corner of mounted photo, just overlapping photo and lace.

  • Attach 3 layered flowers to left hand corner of mounted photo, sitting over regal strip and to the side of the cardstock

  • Add more flowers, in smaller sizes around left and bottom sides of photo, to create a cluster/bouquet of flowers
  • Attach Pearls to centre of flowers
  • Attach flourishes to very left corner of photo, just overlapping photo, but overlapping flowers

  • Adhere photos to right hand side of photo, above journaling block, just overlapping photo
  • Optional: apply sepia accents to alphas and flourishes.
