Now The Instructions.... enjoy!
Step 1
Cut cardstock 140mm x 280mm and score at 140mm (lengthwise).
Step 2
Adhere chipboard bird to the wrong side of cardstock or pattern paper (ensuring bird will be facing the direction you want when covered with the paper). Let the adhesive dry completely before cutting out.
Step 3
Cut out bird shape using craft knife
Sand edges to neaten up
Ink edges (using cotton bud to reach into small/tight areas)
Step 4
Trace around edge of bird in fine black pen. Add bling eye. Using a pencil lightly dot out the wing shape and add bling. Put bird to one side for now.
Cut 50mm x 135mm of pattern paper. Tear one long edge
Step 5
Use the corner rounder punch on the other two corners.
Step 6
Punch various size circles from pattern paper and large circle for sentiment
Step 7
Ink the edges of all the circles and the rectangle. I also ink the edges of the card
Step 8
Stamp or place alphabet stickers on to sentiment circle.
Step 9
Cut 150mm of ribbon and adhere 10mm up from bottom edge of rectangle wrapping ribbon over edge of paper. I use a Xyron to adhere the ribbon but you could use double sided tape or a liquid adhesive that doesn’t stain the ribbon when it drys.
Step 10
Adhere rectangle to bottom edge of the folded card and sentiment circle to top left hand corner of the card.
Step 11
Optional - stamp a branch/leaf stamp along the top of the rectangle onto the card. I’ve used quite a pale colour
.
Step 12
Adhere decorated chipboard bird onto card and add various sized circles. Optional – add bling to circles
Thanks heaps Amanda for creating this lovely card, Hope you have enjoyed this one
till next time
luv tanXx
