scrap the boys challenge & SM Masters Magazine

I would like to congratulate all the masters and honourable mentions and  thank Scrapbooking Memories Magazinge for Publishing one of my layouts in the 2011 Masters Addition. If you haven't yet seen it, please grab a copy as it is a good and inspiring read!

I started doing another challenge and with Scrap the Boys extending their deadline for their submissions. I decided I would have a go!...

oh boy oh boy did i find this a challenge.... ... WHAT WAS I THINKING......

Christmas Layouts just don't work for me... serioulsy they really don't and I tend to avoid them at all costs if I can. But I faced my fears and with using up and distroying about 10 different pattern papers and about 4 cardstocks I just about gave up but with a little help of encouragement from my Facebook Friends I kept persisting with it until I finially could say I like it...lol.

For me to like my own work is important to me as I am the one who serioulsy will distroy it and re do it if i don't...lol! crazy.. but that I am...lol!

So here is the challenge...



and here is my layout using up the scraps of a prima packaging.. oh i love that stuff. Thank goodness for some paint and stamps which all made the inspiration come back to me once again!......

December 123 Challenge - you make me happy!

Today I was inspired to do some creating and do the December 123 Challenge,
Here is the challenge...

word - make

colour - marigold {orange-red}

technique - MYO (make your own -anything!!)

My MAKE word is in the title,
The colour is marigold,
The MYO technique being my backgound, ribbon flower, journalling spot!.

My Layout is about us enjoying our girl having fun on a ride at dreamworld. It is our first and only time we have been and this for sure was her ride of the day!

Hello to my lovely readers..
Hope Christmas was enjoyable for everyone, the weather here in lismore was perfect and the Payne family had lots of food to consume on the day! Was really nice to catch up with family we haven't seen for quite a while.

Over the break I decided i needed to do some creating and liked the 'get picky' blog sketch and thought i would have a go at it.

This is a layout about my girl who is born to perform and loves any chance to be in a photo or perform in any way she can.

This time next year my girl will be towing over me....eeek... look how tall our premie girl has become!....

 have to put in this one... makes me giggle!...lol
